how do you replace a wooden glass window with a plastic one,?

how can you remove the old one with out smashing it up i cant find where the screws are for the wooden frame .Do i start in side or out and were from

some windows are held in by mortar and keyed into the brickwork at top and bottom to hold them in so you would'nt see any screws.You have to take glass and sash's out of window then cut through window with a saw and pry it out with pry bar as you are cutting until its cut through,then take each peice out at a time the same way,don't pull hard as you are doing this or you will damage the plaster inside,so make sure they are loose and gently push and pull until they come out,this is not an easy job to do if don't know what you are doing.Also check to make sure you have a lintel above window or you could disturb brickwork above and have to rebuild it after your new window is fitted if any bricks fall.Like I said before not an easy job so if your not sure ask a friend or family member in the building or window trade tho give you a hand.
