I chipped a cooling loop as well. Can I continue to use the Fridge?

It is just a small bar fridge that I do not need freezer anyway. Is the gas dangerous in anyway or will if affect the rest of the fridge?

If you've split the cooling loop then the gas has already gone - so the fridge won't be working. If its still cooling things then you haven't split the pipe.
