My Zanussi (IZ12) is stuck on 1 minute (in the display window) after finishing a cycle normally. I cannot seem do anything to reset this and have tried leaving the machine unplugged overnight. Every time I press the skip/reset button "Err" flashes and the same when I try to press any programme. The Start/Pause button does nothing at all. I can still open and close the door.

Unplug and unscrew the top two screws to release the lid which slides back.

Take out the electrical connector that goes into the programmer right behind the led display. Then put the mains back on, listen for a clicking sound. Unplug again, refit the connector, put the mains back on. Refit lid.
