A glass was laid on my son's brand new computer workstation. It left a ring and was cleaned off with tissue.
Subsequently, the thin paper-based laminate came away, leaving a very notisable ring.
Can this be repaired?

If the laminate is broken, this cannot easily be repaired as you will be missing some laminate.
If it has lifted "blistered" a very small incision can be made and glue can be squirted in with a syringe. press flat and hold down with ample weight. (a lot of books) position a piece of cling film under the weights to prevent glue form sticking to the weights.
