Hi, i am trying to figure out how to repair my couch recliner with a new cable to activate the leg rest. Please help instruct me to install a new one.

if it is a latch recliner the cable will have a s shaped alloy end to the cable, when you turn the recliner on its back the s shape will fit into a small hole in the action that when pulled by the catch it will release the mechanism. If it is a multi recliner look on the other side and just copy from that side. Hope this helps
