how can I fix my dual flush cistern?

whenever my dual flush cistern is flushed there is a terrible screech until the cistern is full again. How do I get rid of this racket.

It will in fact be the float fill valve thats complaining - it doesn't matter if its a dual flush or not. You may be able to calm things down if there is an isolator valve on the water supply, which you can turn to reduce the water flow.
