Hi there,

I have a Sony Mini Hifi mhc-nx1.

It has a 5 cd changer which has stopped working. When you put in a cd it will just go from deck 1 to 5 searching for cd's but not finding anything. and not playing anything.
Always just 1 to 5, 1 to 5 making big whirring and thinking noises as it does it.

Any body got any ideas?

try resetting the unit by holding down the power and "groove" buttons at the same time... this worked for me (after I had removed a jammed disc)
