how do i fix a small hole in fabric so as not to show?

a very small hole in fabric visable, how do i repair it with out it showing much

You need to take some short threads (about 2" long) of the material - best taken from the hem. Then darn the hole (horizontally and vertically) using these short threads. You may need a few dozen depending on the size of the hole. Do not double-back with the same piece of thread. Bring up each thread up from underneath and cut the excess off on the underside as well. Don't cut them off too closely - leave a little amount on the ends of each.
