how can i get creiosote off my whit glossed patio door?

come home and our neighbour had painted her fence with creiosote and it has been sprayed on our patio door what can i do?

wipe the door down with turps or white spirit If it is stained right into the paint try Craigs answer creosote dilutes with white spirit that is why I have suggested using that first it may work.
