can I paint on treated varnished exterior wood fence?

I would like to put a colour on a fence which has been treated with Baufix varnish, Will this be possible?

Yes! Sand down the varnish first to give it a key for the paint to hold on to. Undercoat the fence with any wood paint, then when it is dry!
