i have either EE or E8 flashing on the digital display of my hotpoint mistral plus frost free fridge freezer 8596p. What is the problem and can it be fixed without calling out an engineer
Dear sir I have a hotpoint fridge frezzer mod 8596p the fridge stopped working I have let it fully defrost as the fan was not going I replaced it with a new one from esparse fit it fan ran for 2seconds and stopped any advice on what it could be

EE is derfost time
E8 is Evaportor thermistor short circuit
more likely to be E8
we have part if need it
