My Fuji F401 camera recently developed the following fault. When i switch it on the lens cover does not retract and a '! lens cover' fault message is displayed on the screen.
I've tried changing the battery and manually moving the lens cover, which does not appear to be jammed, however neither option fixed the problem.
Anybody any ideas how to fix it?

Hi I have had exactly the same problem. Was told it would cost me £180 to repair. If you do hear how to fix this then please post.
