Difficult windows?

My windows open from the middle, one pane on each side swings back to the wall. Is there anyway I might use a portable air conditioning unit with these type of windows?

yes there is , they do make an a/c unit FOR thos kind of windows . it's a bit hard to find since I don't know your area , but they do make them
