how to mend a syphonic toilet?

Hi, my syphonic toilet will not flush properly due to lack of suction, I am told that there is a way of mending it and I wonder if you could inform me of such a way.

Sounds like your diaphram has punctured. go to screwfix and get a replacement syphon - under a fiver. and follow the instructions - dead easy
