how do you unfreeze a philips 8gb gogear?

my philips gogear 8 gb has been frozen for more than 12 hours. it is stuck and wont go off. How do you fix it??? also the holding volume + trick doenst work here.

i stuck a pin in the reset hole, (to the right of the lock switch) and it shut it off, than all you have to do is turn it back on..
