Fuji A400 Focus Error?

Every time I turn my camera on it says 'focus error' the lens does not retract at all and each time i turn it on it makes one clicking sound.

I have tried smacking it against the wall! But I can't think of much else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am willing to open the camera up, but I do not have the right screw driver, does anyone know which one to get?

I am willing to donate for the first person who helps me fix it!

Many Thanks

I had the same problem with my fujifil m603. I opened it but could not repair it. So I was angry and started twisting the lens. Wola it started working. But this problem keep on popping up. My advice twist the lens and keep on pressing the zoom button on ur camera untill zoom error disapears. I have done this so many times I think my camera is permanantly broken but hey I had it for 6 years. Let me know how it went.

I have seen this on 2 other fuji cameras, I suggest not buying Fuji until they take notice & fix it , but in answer to ure query I honestly think there are so many small parts it may be impossible to re-assemble.It sounds as if the lens has come out too far & can't retract so if u get it open concentrate on that first,as regards the screwdriver-I don't know the one but perhaps file down on old one to fit ? TH cam is basically knacked anyway.
