after taking the old element out I am not sure of the correct wiring for the new element - there are two plugs on element and two wires coming from oven - how do I know which plugs into which? Also, if I do it wrong will it go BANG? Done it once and smelt of burning! please advise asap thank you

The way round the wires are does not matter & it will not go bang.The burning smell is prob the coating on the new element.
