How can I fix my Canon zoom lens?

My Canon zoom lens 25 -150mm, doesn't work in auto-focus mode. There ssems to be a clunk as if gears are not meshing or has come off track.

the lens would have to come apart the internal barrel assembly has come adrift either by a knock or the guides has broken the assembly loose is what you hear not a task for an amateur as the lens would have to be recolimated after repair
