The washing machine turns fine and everything but when you turn it on it just stays on the first cycle and will not progress. Indesit WE121

Hi if the machine just fill with water and washes and will not move on to a rinse or spin cycle check that all waste pipes are clear and that the traps are not blocked as if the water cannot drain the machine will not move on.
