Please note that when I press any buttons on the my radio 1-6 the display immediately prompts to the next character. In othwerwords it doesnt give me the opportunity to press any one button more than once. Therefore if I try to press the first button six times in accordance with your suggested 6027 code the display will show 1111. Any ideas?

Reg, Ive tried your suggestion but can not get it to shift from the radio locked position. I left the key in the ignition until the displayed showed a key with 4 dashes to put the pin no, but the ^ or 6 keys does not seem to work as the preset button. Is there anything else i could try?

Instructions

Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)
Press & Hold Preset " ?? " and
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press & Hold Preset " ?? " Until the Unit Beeps

note Preset (??) is button ^ , 6 or AS ( depending on your radio model)
