Qualcast Bosch 35cm 3HP cylinder petrol Suffolk Punch Lawn Mower?

I have a Qualcast Bosch 35cm 3HP cylinder petrol Suffolk Punch Lawn Mower.
The engine and blades work fine, but when I engage drive the mower moves but make a grinding noise maybe clutch slip?
Any help diagnosing the fault would be much apreciated.

Hi, Does not sound like the clutch, thats the round thing that comes out of the side of the engine. Maybe hidden under the tin which is only there as a cover. It works on a centrifugal basis and I is very simple.
However the whole think is easy to strip. Check the belt arrangement on the opposite side to the clutch, there can break up and make a noise, then no drive.
