hoover performa 900 will not fill properly. the cold is going in ,but the hot does not seem to be. is the hot to go in the same time as the cold. the water will only rise up to the bottom of the door. washer will do a full cycle o.k. just will not take in enough water. help..........

These were the first of the machines to use far less water, the level you describe sounds about right.
