crackling/hissing sort of noise whether making a call or when the call is picked up.Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and how it may be rectified.Thanks

I have the same problem and wondering if its Battery related. We are still using the original Battery which came with the phone and the phone is now 3-4 years old.

The crackling on our phone is intermittent and I have checked inside for any loose wiring, but everything seems in order.

Anyway, hope someone can shed some light on this.
