Hi, I bought a used sewing machine and it looks like it is stuck in reverse. There is a reverse lever that keeps going around in circles when I try to switch it to 'forward' and the feed dogs definitely push the material in the wrong direction. Can anyone help? I would like to try and fix this at home if possible.

Sounds like the screw has come loose on the inside, if you can get to the inside to see the lever you will see where it is connected to the bar.
