Anyone to help us GHD owners in South Africa?

I bought my ghd in UK last October and it's just died! No warning, no explosion, just dead. While i'd love to use this as an excuse to return to the UK, my husband just won't buy that and i'm without my straightener and not looking too pretty!! who can help us out here in SA?

what is da est cost of shipping / repairs to u? my problem is the switch on n off. i accidently pressed da globe in wen switching ghd off. mothing is burnt out or anything.
