My washing machine keeps filling up with water?

Zanussi Aquacycle 1000

When my washing machine is sitting idle, it naturally fills up with water meaning that we need to drain it every day.

How can I stop this!

I suspect its a faulty valve, not closing properly. You'll need to find out if it is hot or cold water the machines fills with? Then you may be able to source the valve and replace it. A fairly simple job I would imagine.
