I have a peugeot 206 1.2 litre. My car radio/CD player sound has completely stopped working. It switches on but no sound comes out when playing a CD or having the radio on..any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, ive had someone look over it, but with no success so far. Theyve checked that already, im sure. He's a friend of my parteners ( so i know he not ripping me) and he said that it may need re-wiring, the whole car! Its ment to be a big job aswell!! It was working at one point, then the sound was going off and on, then went completly. It switches on, the CD player and radio but i just cant get any sound!

It does play CDs or radio? Well, then it is not the radio but maybe the cables connecting the speakers. Check if they are connected correctly to the radio or if they got loose somewhere
