how can i fix my bonnet catch on my renault laguna 1.6 W reg?

When i pull the handle to release the bonnet nothing happens, the cable doesn't seem to move! what do i need to do to fix this problem?

Possibly the nearside rocker on the nearside bonnet catch that holds the cable has broken. Just had same problem myself and required to have front lower bumper section removed to access the bonnet catches. If the nearside rocker has broken at the side where the secondary cable for the offside bonnet catch fits, you can change the rockers over to the oppposite sides but otherwise the complete catches and cables must be purchased as you cannot get the rockers as a spare.
