how can i fix my dishwasher?

i have a diplomat adp8242 and light no1 is flashing and no matter what i do i can not get the dishwasher to work has any one any idea's?

Hi Jay, does it bleep at you or anything? Have you had trouble opening the door recently? If so ,it could be the door lock has broken its mount on the control panel and you will need a new control panel.They are about £25 plus vat and postage.If the panel is okay it may be the pcb but that is expensive.Try the panel first.All the best.
