My Whirlpool Gold side-by-side refrigerator's ice maker is not dropping the ice cubes. The ice maker fills and freezes, the prongs rotate, but doesn't push the ice out into the in-door bin. It seems like the prongs freeze in the ice, or maybe they are suppose to. Any suggestions?

Have you tried reaching into the ice box and breaking up the ice as sometimes the ice clumps together making it impossible for it to drop down in to the door bin ready for use.
