Pilot light on glow worm hide away 60B doesnt stay alight?

How can I fix this, I have been attempting to relight the pilot as it has been out since not using it over the summer, but although it comes on and the thermostat goes orange as soon as i remove my hand or raise it from the control knob A, the light goes out. I am not sure how i can sort this out?
please advise

Thanks for your help Jeff x much appreciated, ill give that a try, just trying to find out what length thermocouple I need now......

Although I am not familiar with your model, It is very likely that the thermocouple is damaged and should be replaced. When the pilot light warms the thermocouple this should energise the gas valve and self hold. I have replaced the thermocouple many times on my model of Glowworm. Replacements can usually be purchased for about £5 from Plumb Centre or similar stores. Ensure you get the correct length thermocouple.
