I've just moved into a new house fitted with a veritas alarm. As soon as anyone walks past the strobe in the hallway it beeps continously and doesn't stop until that peson has walked away. I've tried to reset it using the code but as soon as any key is pressed on the main box it starts beeping again. Entering the code does not stop it.
the chime has been turned on ,try pressing the key with a musical note on it ,if this does not work come back on site and i will try to talk you through programming the zones out of chime ,,hope this helps
