how to fix my GR-D73EK JVC Camcorder?

I have the same problem as the guy with the D53 camcorder, the playback is fine on existing tapes but when switched to record the screen is black.

I bet there's problem with the ccd sensor.
Try pointing your camera to a bright light source and see if there is any slight changes on the black screen.
If there is changes, then it's the ccd sensor's fault.
