PHILIPS 22 RC 465/35S (Citroen Xsara)
My radio stopped working without disconnecting the
battery. The display has not shown the dashes ----
but I have tried inputting the correct code anyway
and it now flashes 'CODE' five times when switched
on after leaving a while.
Is this a recoverable condition or a repair shop job,
please can someone advise me?

I would suggest a reboot, especially if you know the correct code.

Disconnect the radio for 10 minutes, reconnect then enter the code .....and fingers crossed it should work again.
