How can i get a upvc door open when the catch is jammed?
Yale lock with multi locking system, the door lever retracts the upper and lower bolts but the middle one is stuck!

Try a large screwdriver or door wedge under the door to lift it at the lock side. Perhaps the door has dropped a bit and all the weight is on the middle lock. If this works, tighten up the screws on the hinges which will lift the door back to where it was. You may only get each screw turned a tiny bit but that is sometimes enough to make the difference.

there are way of opening the door like taking off the handles and drilling out a bit of the door from behind the handles to find the art of the mech that will allow you to do this , i would not advise on doing this one yourself as it could cost you more than paying a good locksmith if you get it wrong .
where in the uk are you?
do you know if the mech has hooks, rollers or dead bolts there are thousands of different ones on the market?
