How can I realign zipper teeth so that they lock behind the zipper pull? Although the zipper pull seems secure as I pull it up and down, the zipper remains open on both sides of it.

To realign zipper teeth, it is necessary to slightly separate one side of the puller, releasing one side of zipper, bring puller to bottom of zipper, even, reinsert zipper,lining up carefully with other side, close puller very carefully over other zipper side with pliers, and carefully pull up. Not easy to do,must be careful to have tension just right.
