i hav a old potterton kingfisher boiler about 20 years old the piolt went out? have got piolt on but main buner will not fire??

Hi,

My Old king fisher RS 50 pilot light went out and when relighting it and waiting even 2 minutes upon releasing valve button still wont stay lighted.
