i used to have the card installed in a blackberry then one day it didnt recognise it, now i have a lg viewty and tried it in there and it wont read it in there either....can anyone help as i dont even get the option to reformat it...and now have lost all the pics and tunes i had saved on there

Hi, you may not have lost any of the information on the card. If you have a pc and a card reader, put the card in the reader and download all of the information on it to the pc. If the pc says there is no information on the card, then download some free recovery software, there are several on the net. Fire up this software and tell it to look on the card for information, once it has found it download the information. Once all, or as much as you can get, is safe, FORMAT the card. This will clear all of the information from the card and return it to an unused condition. If the card will NOT format, the best advice is to chuck it away and buy a new one. Please buy a good quality card from a reputable dealer as they have a better guarantee and will last a lot longer than some cheap rubbish.
