i have a ford fiesta 1998 (R) mk4 and it is leaking in the boot. I have tracked down where the water is coming into the car but cannot for the life of me find out where the entry point is!!

Next to the boot catch (on the actual boot door) there is a small whole (factory hole not one that has been done by any owner) and thats where the water is coming in. Originally i thought it was coming in around the spoiler bolts but i have had this taken off and rebolted and sealed.

This leaves me to think its coming in round the rubber seal on the glass but it seems to be in good condition.

any ideas?????

Mine was leaking from the wiper arm fitting on the boot.

I have the same problem with my 98 mk4 fiesta, new seal around the window and new door seal but can't get to the problem and fed up with the puddles. Do you know where this could be coming from?
