When the camera is plugged into the computer it keeps saying that the device is not recognised, and it wont troubleshoot. It keeps saying try again, and if not recognise change device- why is this happening and how do I overcome this.

Which camera do you have? I bought my first Digital Camera yesterday - Sony DSC-W110. Ten mins ago I loaded some test pictures to my computer.

Took memory card out and inserted into Universal USB Card Reader (£16) connected to USB port and all worked fine using Windows Explorer and a Wizard that started automatically under XP.

What Camera - How connecting - What Op Sys ???
