MY videocam seized up suddenly?

How can i fix my Panasonic videocam NV-GS35? It won't switch on. The repair shop, for £50, told me it was corroded inside by salt water

If the repair shop is right, salt water damage is not repairable, it is very corrosive. You must have used it by the seaside. Water finds it's way in different directions, you should look into claiming under holiday insurance etc.
