The red light is displayed saying there is an inlet/drain problem. I did not hear water gushing in so I think it is the inlet. The water pressure in the mains tap is good. I have checked the inlet hose at the back and couldn't see any obvious problem. What next?

A Miele engineer found this problem with my machine was caused by water in a sump tank under the casing getting water in it and, via a float switch, cutting off water inlet supply to prevent flooding. I have this problem again I think but fortunately the washer is on an extended warranty.
