Alarm not setting?

Hi,
I have veritas 8 control panel.When I set the alarm on full, the internal sounder just beeps away and doesnt set. When I set the alarm to part, it beeps until I go out the front door then stops,again the alarm does not set. Do you think its just a faluty keypad or is it more?

When you set the alarm on full does any of the LED light up?

If so you have a fault and this needs to be fixed before it will set
