Sam45 ER-5200M top cover broken so till frozen any over ride?????

I have the SAM45 ER-5200M till in my leisure club but the top cover clips have broken off and now it wont work because it give a "top cover open" warning, is there an over ride to get my till working again?????

Hi.
I can't find this error in my notes. I can see 'printer cover open'. If this is the error, then try placing a rock or heavy object on top of the printer cover. Otherwise, look for a switch that gets pressed by the cover and jam something in it.
