How do I stop my ER5100 from beeping?

I cannot program my ER5100 cash register as it won't stop beeping. How do I stop it so I can begin working on it.

Hi. If it beeps continuously, you have probably tried to turn the key to a new mode while half way through doing something in a different mode. Find a position (apart from off mode) where the machine stops beeping, then try to finish in that mode (try pressing CASH, or SUBTOTAL). If it doesn't work, tell me which mode stops the beep, and I'll try to help further.
