what can go wrong with a storage heater?

Mine has blown the wall fuse, which I changed and it worked fine, then blew it and I changed it again but now appears as dead as a dodo....and dead dodo's are jolly cold.
Are there any working parts that I can check or is it a case of letting it rest in peace and buying a new unit?

Have you checked the elements to see if they are all working? Mine had an element broken and replaced it. It worked for 2 days and then tripped itself, nightmare. Going to try the cut off switch next and finger crossed.
