car starts first time but cuts out when heater switch turned on also sometimes when wipers operated. blue main beam light and rear wiper come on and stay on. possibly imobliser comes on and cuts out engine.? is fan switch and wipers conected through a relay fuse or wiring conection.has someone any ideas what to try.

Can't see how a bad earth somewhere can cause things to operate when they should not?

My guess either chafed wire(s) shorting together or crossed connections somewhere. What was the last thing done just before the fault condition arrived?

You may have to pay an auto electrician :(
