potterton housewarmer 45 backboiler?

when boiler reaches its tempereture it clicks off then tries to click back on straight away and it doing so makes a load blowing noise on fire up. what could be the problem?

The filter inside the burner is linted up.The burner needs taking to pieces and cleaning out.
