It is possible to default the 8 ,16, 16+ without losing the main programming. only the engineers code and master user code will be defaulted. Its not a wise move to play around in the engineers suite without a manual or some basic knowledge though !!!!. You should NEVER try this on a monitored system, call an engineer.
