Accenta G3. Home alarm system?

The entry/exit door sensors work sometimes and not others. When they stop working, I lightly rub one of them and they work again. They are not dusty or dirty.
Any ideas how to correct the prolem please?

Hi David, the door senors will need to be replaced, if not it will go down hill, only cost one to five pounds depending on units used.
